BEST LOCAL BLUESIAND The Lionel Young Band A classically trained violinist and enterprising composer, Lionel Young is well-versed in many styles of music but prefers to focus his energies on the blues. Like Clarence "Gatemouth" Brown, he often plays his electric violin like a miniature guitar and does some deft slide guitar work on it, as well. Young's unique sound is enhanced by choice sidemen, including drummer Tony Black, bassist Chris Harris and keyboardist James Torres.
